~ When pet safety comes first…

Beatrice, the pick of the 2010 Rizer Goldens litter was generously given to us as a wedding gift. It was a very happy time for us and her addition to our family added to that joy tremendously.  Beatrice was a very special gift because she was so much more than just a dog.  She was full of light and happiness that you could truly see when she pranced into a room.  Bea’s heart and her funny quirks inspired me to write this blog.  I called her my Sweet-Bea.

When we first got Bea, the intention was to show her.  Her lineage was quite impressive and her potential as a show dog was thought to be endless.  Unfortunately for Bea’s career, her heart melted ours and the thought of her being on the road at shows, away from us, was too much to bear.  Beatrice was our little lap dog and her place…

~ As the adage goes, “The best things in life are free.” (-:

“If we look at the world with a love of life, the world will reveal its beauty to us.” ~Daisaku Ikeda

If you asked an 8-year old version of me to list all the things I loved, it might have looked something like this:

  • Ice cream
  • Swings
  • Snow days
  • Beach days
  • More ice cream
  • Saturday morning cartoons

In fact, I’m sure I could have created an inventory longer than my usual Christmas list, including a ton of things that either tasted, felt, or looked good.

It didn’t occur to me until later in life that some of the best things are intangible; and that I could experience them at any time if I just opened my heart and mind to let them in.

I think most of us know this intellectually—that pride in our work can be more valuable than what it buys, for example. But sometimes we get so…

I’m Mad at Ne-yo…

Subj: Mad by Ne-yo

__love-oh-meter__

I’m mad at Ne-yo in a good way, of course! His song “Mad” is such a hit! The airwaves are really getting mad playing “Mad”. I like the song, it is a song many people can relate to. Ne-yo is such a musical genius, I wonder how he pulls it off just like that!

__hate-oh-meter__

No hate-oh-meter for now. Because I like the song so much, I made it my ringtone. Who cares if I’ve joined the “Mad Ringtone Bandwagon”? It’s really obvious that people love his song. Well, who doesn’t?! =D

__or so i thought__

How I wish I’d be able to make songs like this one, even in my dreams. Lolz.ü At least, for once in my one of a kind life.

* Another beautiful song of Ne-yo, “Together”. >c”,)<

The Twilight Craze 1

Subj: Twilight by Stephenie Meyer (1st Book of Twilight Saga)

__love-oh-meter__

I have read the novel before it became a movie hit. Damn, it was good and very easy to read. It’s no wonder why kids and young adults love reading it. Yep, even the oldies! True to what its book jacket says, readers will burn the midnight oil just to finish the romantic paperback. It’s no wonder why Stephenie Meyer wishes to give her fans a Porsche for making Twilight such a big hit! That’s sooo super!

I am a slow reader so I only read the story whenever I have free time. The story was cool, it’s like I am watching my daily sitcom fix. I rarely read novels but I was amazed I was able to finish the story.

__hate-oh-meter__

There’s nothin’ to hate, hahaha! At one point or another, I love the story. The movie’s okay but I’d say the book is better. Meyer’s books are always out of stock because fans can’t get enough of the Twilight fever.

__or so i thought__

What if Twilight became a series like Smallville? Whaddya think? A rumor was on the net saying that a Filipino version of Twilight is  in the making but the TV network handling the talents denied the rumor. More news on www.perezhilton.com.

Blog Your World

Subj: Blogging or Writing

__love-oh-meter__

What I love about this so-called “blogging thing” is that this is our blog, our space where we can write and brag just about anything! Pour your thoughts and hearts out including your overflowing tears and angst plus your wrath in this chaotic world and there you go, you’ve made yourself a blog or a me-blog!

And the rewards and perks? For some, they get to earn and make a living through blogging, hmmmm. And for those who are just blogging out of the blue, their blogs serve as an outlet of themselves, outlets of whatever reason underneath. Not bad, isn’t it? Blogging is better than drugs. Yeah, that’s right!

__hate-oh-meter__

And, the one thing I hate about blogging is that I don’t know, hehe. I mean, there are times when you just don’t know what to write about and it gets boring at times (that’s just my opinion). Unless, of course, you’re a blog fan and you’re a writer who earns through blogging, then this thing is for you. As for me, my blog serves as my online journal and diary in one. I write blogs when I get dizzy from my technical job especially when I get darn sleepy.

Another thing I hate about blogging is that there are people who are just plain ruthless, they steal what’s on your blog. Anyway, it’s human nature I think. They’re just like that and I am not. I’d rather spend hours thinking than stealing someone else’s spread, it’s just not ME! I’ll post my other comments regarding on this topic in the next few months, so keep on reading my crazy write-ups!

Last week, I’ve read an article of Pam Castor entitled “Why I Stopped Blogging” and yeah, I agree with her. I used to blog before but now I kinda stopped and got very, very busy. I  know I can find time for blogging it’s just that I don’t want to. But here I am now, I am starting to blog again. Harharhar!*

What I hate most? When no one appreciates this little thing I do, hahaha. Okay, I write this piece of shit then what now? What am I gonna get? Huhuhu, only to find out that the only reader is ME, myself and I. That would be hell but it would still be a lil’ bit of heaven for me.

* Pam’s article is published on You Magazine (Jan-Feb 2009 issue).

What if your grandchildren reads your blog? Isn’t it cool? So start blogging, little by little, step by step and rave at your own masterpiece! =) My friend once told me that the oldest blogger is 102 years old. Can we beat that?! Let the blogs roll…
